I have discovered the addictive world of fractals. I spent my first bit of time using the freeware Fractal Explorer. Then I learned of Apophysis. So, I thought I would try it. I'm looking for a mentor, if anyone wants to take a newbie under his/her wing.

What else about me? I love to take pictures - mostly nature/landscapes - documentary for the most part as I am a wildlife watcher (birds, reptiles, and all else in between). I love interesting clouds as subjects too. Give me a microscope - I could spend hours examining what lives in pond water... I also enjoy creating digital manipulations of my photographs. One never knows what might inspire me...

Most of my creative time is currently spent as a model horse painting artist and greeting card designer. If you are into horses, I do take commissions although my books are currently closed at the moment as I work through pending orders. I also design greeting cards and use my wildlife photographs for designing gift items I sell.
